I work from references supplied by you via email or on Etsy. The more detailed the photo, the more detailed the painting will be. The best photos are of the pet in natural daylight, looking at or just past the camera. The eyes in particular need to be in focus. If some of the pet has been cropped off and you would like it in the painting, please supply an extra picture or advise me, as I can fill in missing details to some degree and slightly change poses, remove harnesses and collars, etc, and will provide you with work in progress shots so we can make adjustments as necessary. I appreciate you might not always be able to get a new photo, especially in the cases of memorial paintings.

I don't accept returns as it is a custom item but I will never finalise a painting you aren't 100% happy with and will work with you until you say the painting is done. Then I will make a listing for you on Etsy so you can provide your details and pay through a safe client and then it goes to the printer and is sent to you from there. As it comes to you straight from the printer I don't charge extra for shipping.

All pets are welcome! Dogs seem to be the most common for portraits but if you have a particularly beloved tarantula or treasured hamster I am happy to paint them.
